Best friends, that's who we are..
In 2015 my wife Irene and I, the best of friends, bought a BMW Adventure motorcycle. We were living in Southern Spain and loved the idea of taking the BMW adv motorcycle bike into Morocco where we often visited.
This was 2015 and I, Ian, had not ridden a serious bike since 1986 when we started to produce children. The BMW R1200GSA was quite a re-introduction!
In 2021 we relocated back to the U.K. where we now live, enjoying all the South Wales has to offer to those with adventure bikes.
Why GoGravel & RubbaTech?
On prepping the adventure bikes for our trips into Northern Africa we quickly discovered that a lot of products sold in Europe looked great but didn't necessarily offer the robustness we were looking for.
We looked further afield and found high quality products made in South Africa for Africa. Exactly what we wanted but not available in Europe.
Thus a relationship started, initially with the great guys at GoGravel followed by our dear friends at RubbaTech.
BAM happened!
As we built relationships with the guys in South Africa we started to sell adventure motorcycle products here in the UK and Europe. Thus Big Adventure Moto started in 2016. Since those early days in Spain we have re-located to our base in Llanelli in South Wales U.K. where we have fun selling quality products primarily to the British Market.
We take pride in what we do, we have great relationships with all those we work with and we love to get to know our customers as they make their bikes their own.
